Golder Ranch Fire District in Oro Valley, AZ is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to plan, schedule, and oversee repair, maintenance, and upkeep of district facilities and equipment. Plans, schedules, and oversees the repair, maintenance, and upkeep of District facilities, equipment, and properties. Evaluates and identifies facility needs, recommends and implements repairs or improvements, and proactively troubleshoots maintenance issues to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Collaborates with internal departments to coordinate work priorities and partners with external vendors and contractors as needed to ensure quality, compliance, and cost-effective results.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Two (2) years full-time work experience in facilities maintenance or a related trade field with hands-on experience in: plumbing, painting, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or related work.
OR
Two (2) years education and/or technical training in a field related to building maintenance through: a recognized trade union, technical school, or equivalent accredited college, or university.
Experience working with vendors and contractors.
Must possess and maintain an Arizona driver’s license with good driving record.
