You will monitor systems, perform repairs in carpentry, plumbing, and painting, coordinate preventative maintenance with outside professionals, and document repairs while ensuring safety standards across our spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of facilities maintenance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facility systems and utilities to ensure smooth operation.
• Perform general facility maintenance and repairs (carpentry, plumbing, painting).
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with external contractors to minimize disruption.
• Inspect water temperatures and sprinkler pressures for safety compliance.
• Document repairs and conduct periodic facility walk-throughs.
• Liaise with contractors and vendors for maintenance projects.
• Test fire alarms and sprinkler systems quarterly and yearly.
• Prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
• Stay updated on maintenance best practices and regulations.
• Be flexible to take on additional tasks as needed.

• Safety First: Conduct regular checks on water temperatures and sprinkler system pressures to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Your vigilance will help maintain a safe environment for everyone.


• Maintenance Maestro: Jump in to assist with general facility maintenance and repairs whenever needed. Whether it’s carpentry, plumbing, or painting, your skills will keep our facilities in top shape!


• Schedule Like a Pro: Coordinate and manage preventative maintenance appointments for tasks that require outside expertise, ensuring minimal disruption to our programs and staff.


• Document with Precision: Conduct periodic facility walk-throughs and document necessary repairs. Your attention to detail will help us maintain our high standards.


• Team Player: Maintain strong professional relationships with contractors and vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration for all maintenance projects.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Pay Range for this position $23.00 to $31.25 per hour based on education and experience
