DrVita, a growing nutraceutical manufacturer, is seeking a hands-on Facility Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing facility, warehouse, laboratories, and offices. The role focuses on maintaining facility systems, troubleshooting equipment and building issues, performing preventative maintenance, and helping ensure a safe, reliable work environment.

You should enjoy solving problems, work independently, and take ownership of keeping operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facility, industrial, manufacturing, or building maintenance experience.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Boiler experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on facility systems and equipment.

This position is responsible for maintaining facility systems, troubleshooting equipment and building issues, performing preventative maintenance, and helping ensure a safe, reliable work environment.

What You'll Do

Facility & Building Maintenance

• Perform preventative maintenance on facility systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, compressed air, and building systems
• Support boiler operation and maintenance
• Respond to maintenance requests and facility issues
• Coordinate repairs to minimize operational downtime
• Perform general facility repairs and improvements

Preventative Maintenance

• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance activities
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders
• Track parts and maintenance supply inventory
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and facility performance

Vendor & Contractor Coordination

• Coordinate service providers, contractors, and repair vendors
• Support facility inspections and service visits
• Assist with facility improvement and expansion projects

Compliance & Safety

• Maintain a safe working environment
• Support OSHA, safety, and cGMP requirements
• Ensure maintenance activities are properly documented
• Assist with audit readiness and facility compliance efforts

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of facility, industrial, manufacturing, or building maintenance experience
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Boiler experience strongly preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders or elevated platforms when needed

Preferred Experience

• Food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or GMP manufacturing experience
• Preventative maintenance systems (CMMS)
• Vendor management and contractor coordination
• OSHA and facility safety programs
