Job summary

Sevita is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold safety and upkeep across our facilities. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and equipment checks to ensure a clean, safe living environment for individuals we serve.

Responsibilities include repairing HVAC and plumbing systems, inspecting structures, and maintaining records. This position requires a High School diploma and basic maintenance experience; travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and one year related experience.
• Working knowledge and ability to handle all maintenance and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing preventative maintenance program.
• Repair and maintain kitchen, housekeeping, and other mechanical equipment including HVAC, electrical and plumbing fixtures.
• Inspect and repair damages to walls, ceilings, floors, roofs and rooms.
• Paint and refinish building surfaces.
• Order and maintain necessary maintenance supplies.
• Maintain fire alarm system and safety equipment.
• Keep operation records and ensure safety regulations are followed.
