Job summary

CSI International, Inc. is seeking a Building Mechanic to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and BAS systems at our Boca Raton facilities.

The role requires hands-on skills, safety compliance, and the ability to work with senior technicians on larger projects. The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in facilities maintenance, understands HVAC operations, and can troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of facilities maintenance or building operations experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with building equipment.
• Working knowledge of HVAC operation and repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot pumps, motors, belts, and fans.
• Basic electrical and plumbing maintenance skills.
• Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Ability to read diagrams, manuals, and work orders.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Inspect and repair HVAC equipment including air handlers, VAVs, RTUs, and heat pumps.
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, belts, bearings, and fans.
• Assist with plumbing system maintenance including valves and pipes.
• Support electrical maintenance such as lighting and breakers.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems as directed.
• Perform general facility repairs including doors, locks, tiles, and carpentry.
• Document completed tasks and respond to work orders promptly.
• Coordinate with vendors for specialized maintenance.
• Maintain tools and workspace safety.
