Job summary

Mercury Medical is seeking a dependable general maintenance worker to perform routine and as-needed maintenance across building interiors and exteriors. The role includes HVAC, plumbing, painting, electrical work, and keeping detailed service records.

You will supervise light repairs, manage fixture updates, assist with furniture moves, and liaise with vendors. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional after-hours tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of building maintenance experience.
• Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior of building including HVAC, flooring, plumbing, painting, patching, and repairs.
• Maintain exterior of building including lawns, sidewalks, parking lots, painting, and power washing.
• Maintain lighting fixtures; replace bulbs and update fixtures as needed.
• Perform light electrical repairs and maintenance.
• Repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, faucets, toilets, and urinals.
• Keep records of maintenance or service according to procedures.
• Run local errands as needed.
• Interact professionally with vendors and staff.
• Review operational integrity of building equipment.
• Set up furniture and equipment moves.
• Monitor supplies for housekeeping/janitorial use.
• Suggest process improvements to supervisor/management.

Mercury Medical is looking for a dependable, hardworking, general maintenace, skilled worker. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Maintain interior of building: Performing routine and as needed chilled water HVAC, flooring, plumbing, painting, patching and miscellaneous maintenance, repairs and improvements.


• Maintain exterior of building: Overseeing lawn care, sidewalk maintenance, parking lot maintenance, painting and power washing.


• Maintains lighting fixtures, performing bulb changes and updating fixtures as needed.


• Light electrical repairs and maintenance.


• Maintains plumbing performing routine sink, faucet, toilet and urinal repairs.


• Keep records of maintenance or service following established procedures.


• Run local errands as needed.


• Maintain a professional interaction with vendors and staff.


• Review operational integrity of building equipment.


• Setup furniture and equipment moves.


• Monitor availability of housekeeping/janitorial supplies.


• Recommends process improvement and/or changes to supervisor/management relative to maintenance, housekeeping, lawn care, safety and energy.


• Use basic Microsoft and Helpdesk software programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 5 years of building maintenance experience.


• Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday Friday, 8:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


• Occasional afterhours work for emergency matters and preplanned tasks/projects.
