Job summary

Community HealthCare System is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to oversee construction and maintenance of the physical plant and equipment at all locations. You will perform preventive maintenance on machinery, plumbing and electrical systems, and repair as required.

You will assist in coordinating Biomedical Equipment maintenance, develop work plans, and prepare quotes for work orders. The role requires travel to CHCS locations and adherence to CHCS policies.

Qualifications

• General construction experience required.
• Electrical and plumbing knowledge and/or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction and maintenance of physical plant and equipment across CHCS locations.
• Process work orders and maintain related records and blueprints.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Repair machinery, plumbing and electrical systems as needed.
• Assist in coordinating repair and scheduled maintenance of Biomedical Equipment.
• Develop work plans for repair and maintenance projects and ensure completion.
• Prepare cost quotes or estimates for maintenance work orders for approval.
• Support long-range and strategic plans to meet organizational needs.
• Identify and report unsafe situations; escalate as required.
• Maintain compliance with CHCS policies and educational requirements.
• Arrive on time and ready to work; perform all essential functions of Maintenance Tech I.
• Travel to CHCS locations as needed.
