Job summary

Elizabeth River Crossings OpCo, LLC maintains the buildings, structures, and facility systems that support the Elizabeth River Tunnels and ERC facilities. The Maintenance Technician performs hands-on inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, and general facility support for roofs, doors, ladders, plumbing, pumps, painting, carpentry, masonry, and more to keep operations safe and reliable.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional maintenance training preferred.
• At least four years of combined skilled facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience in carpentry, masonry, concrete repair, plumbing, and basic troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of painting, door hardware, locks, and general repair procedures.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic repair methods.
• Strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities to identify malfunctions, safety concerns, and preventive maintenance needs.
• Perform carpentry, masonry, concrete repairs, painting, door hardware, and locks.
• Carry out minor plumbing maintenance and light mechanical tasks.
• Support limited lighting maintenance and basic electrical safety boundaries.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes and schedule repairs.
• Complete work orders and maintain maintenance records accurately.
• Follow safety rules and company policies while operating tools.
