Job summary

Walmart is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician in Carrollton, KY, to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across store facilities and equipment.

You will work under the General Maintenance Manager, following schedules and safety guidelines while addressing repairs and improvements to ensure safe, functional, and clean environments for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• Trade credentials and hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical, or related trades.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment used in general facilities maintenance.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Use work orders system to receive and document repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and diagnose issues.
• Inspect and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Complete required safety and equipment training.
