Job summary

Las Vegas, NV — MGM Resorts International is seeking a Laborer to provide general assistance across property operations. Responsibilities include moving materials, assisting with construction-related tasks, operating equipment, and maintaining safety and logs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must obtain a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collecting/carrying required parts materials and equipment to designated work areas.
• Assisting with office, furniture and casino equipment moves, and with demolition and clean up on construction projects.
• Pick up parts and supplies from vendors, keep the property maintenance department warehouse clean and orderly.
• Responsible for completion of all jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management and maintaining logbooks.
• Operate motorized/power equipment; skyjack, forklift, scissor lift, jackhammer, and other heavy machinery; fuel and service engineering vehicles; maintain inventory of keys and tools in the Engineering Tool Room.
• Work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods and advise the Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions within the property.
• Maintain constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety, and accident prevention; able to wear/use personal protective equipment (p.p.e.).
• Perform other job-related duties as requested
