The Laborer position at MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas supports maintenance across the property, handling moves, parts, and heavy equipment under supervision. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on tasks in a dynamic, guest-focused environment.

Starting at $18.58 per hour, the role offers opportunities to work with a skilled maintenance team, participate in various shifts, and contribute to the upkeep of a premier resort destination in Nevada.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must obtain a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience as a professional Journeyman Laborer working in a similar resort setting.
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collecting/carrying required parts materials and equipment to designated work areas; assisting with office, furniture and casino equipment moves, and with demolition and clean up on construction projects
• Pick up parts and supplies from vendors, keep the property maintenance department warehouse clean and orderly
• Responsible for completion of all jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management and maintaining logbooks
• Operate motorized/power equipment; skyjack, forklift, scissor lift, jackhammer, and other heavy machinery; fuel and service engineering vehicles; maintain inventory of keys and tools in the Engineering Tool Room
• Work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods and advise the Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions within the property
• Maintain constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety, and accident prevention; able to wear/use personal protective equipment (p.p.e.)
• Perform other job‑related duties as requested

THE JOB:

accordance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, ordinances, and department and company policies, practices, and procedures to ensure overall facility integrity.
