LGSTX is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech (Multi-Location) to provide hands-on maintenance, repair, and infrastructure support across designated facilities. You will travel between sites, coordinate vendors, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted operations.
The role requires 3–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and strong skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and CMMS usage.
The Facilities Maintenance Tech (Multi-Location) is responsible for providing hands-on facilities maintenance, repair, and infrastructure support across a designated district or region typically consisting of two to five distribution or logistics facilities. This position functions as a mobile subject-matter expert for base building systems and serves as the primary technical facilities contact for assigned locations. The FM Tech operates independently with limited supervision, travels between sites as required, coordinates vendor activity, and ensures building systems remain safe, compliant, and operational to support uninterrupted customer operations.
Job Functions:
Diagnose equipment and system deficiencies, determine appropriate corrective actions, and execute or coordinate repairs.
Conduct routine facility rounds and inspections to identify risks, compliance concerns, and deferred maintenance.
Coordinate, dispatch, supervise, and quality-check contractors and service vendors, including verifying scope, permits, safety compliance, and workmanship.
Required Job Skills:
Three to five years of experience in facilities maintenance, building engineering, or industrial maintenance.
Demonstrated experience supporting complete building systems.
Experience coordinating contractors and service providers across multiple sites preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.
HVAC systems including RTUs, split systems, and exhaust equipment.
Electrical distribution systems, lighting, panels, receptacles, and lockout/tagout procedures.
Plumbing systems and domestic water infrastructure.
Dock door and dock leveler maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical manuals.
CMMS platforms and basic computer applications.
