Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety, functionality, and appeal of our centers. You will schedule and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more, while collaborating with staff and vendors to deliver inviting spaces for families and children.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, renovations support, and CMMS updates.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance in a multi-site environment.
• Ability to read maintenance manuals and specifications.
• Proven ability to operate a company vehicle per policy.
• Strong time management and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems.
• Inspect playgrounds and property for safety and security.
• Assist with renovations and new construction inspections and capital projects.
• Engage with center staff to promote best practices in facility maintenance.
• Coordinate with local vendors to complete repairs and monitor performance.
• Update work orders and track status in CMMS.
