Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems. You will handle in-house work orders, tests, and preventive maintenance under supervision, while keeping detailed records of all activities.

The role is full-time with a Day shift (Tue-Sat 7:00am-3:30pm). A valid Driver's License is required, and Florida background screening may apply. Competitive pay with strong benefits from Day One.

Qualifications

• Electrical equipment maintenance per codes and regulations.
• Able to document records neatly and accurately.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and work from sketches.
• Ability to generate requisitions for materials and supplies.
• Ability to assign priority and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential repairs and other duties as requested.
• Assist in tests, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical systems and structures.
• Respond to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks daily.
• Maintain complete and accurate maintenance logs and records.
• Comply with healthcare, federal, state and local regulations.
• Operate and maintain painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, locksmith and alarm systems.
