Job summary

The American National Red Cross is seeking a skilled General Maintenance Tech II to support safe, reliable operations across our Washington, DC facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair building systems, and respond to urgent facility needs that support disaster response, blood drives, and community programs.

You’ll work with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems, coordinate with vendors, and ensure code compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of building systems.
• Ability to read codes and apply safety standards.
• Strong communication and coordination with vendors and facilities team.
