Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services invites applications for a Maintenance/Construction Technician II (S) at the Agricultural Sciences Center. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with one year of progressive experience in mechanical/electrical/plumbing trades.
• Valid NC driver's license within 30 days of hire or ability to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repairs of the general physical building and systems.
• Monitor and service chillers, boilers, HVAC, and incinerators; repair plumbing and electrical issues.
• Support Facility Maintenance for ASC and satellite laboratories.
• Follow safety and environmental regulations and standard operating procedures.
