Job summary

Medtronic in Jacksonville is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to sustain a safe, reliable, and inclusive work environment. You’ll support mission-critical facilities that enable life-saving innovation and manufacturing, performing inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

This third-shift role (10 PM–6:30 AM) requires 1+ year in facilities/maintenance; HVAC experience; CMMS familiarity is a plus. U.S. work authorization applies; benefits and career growth with Medtronic.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Facilities/Maintenance.
• HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspections to determine repair and maintenance needs to prevent breakdowns.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance in plant or office facilities.
• Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machines and equipment.
• Work across maintenance trades such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, sheet metal, welding.
• Read and use blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• Utilize hand and power tools to complete tasks.
