Job summary

Leprino seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician I in Denver to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, carpentry, and flooring systems. You will inspect building systems, operate tools across skilled trades, and support office furniture setup and grounds maintenance.

The role includes seasonal grounds work, snow removal, and coordinating maintenance with the Facilities team while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of facilities/landscape/grounds maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification or formal HVAC training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, carpentry, and flooring.
• Inspect building systems and equipment to identify maintenance needs and complete repairs efficiently.
• Operate, maintain, and safely use tools and equipment across multiple skilled trades.
• Install, repair, and modify office furniture to support department needs and workspace improvements.
• Maintain lawns, landscapes, and outdoor spaces using grounds equipment.
• Complete seasonal grounds work including snow removal and landscape maintenance.
• Arrange and move furniture for conference rooms, board rooms, cafeterias, and events.
• Open the Denver office by turning on lights, unlocking designated areas, checking common spaces, and completing morning tasks.
• Identify and report building or grounds concerns and address maintenance issues when appropriate.
• Coordinate maintenance requests with Facilities team and support other departments.
• Follow Leprino safety procedures while completing building, grounds, and office service work.
• Complete assigned maintenance tasks with limited supervision and maintain organized records.

Within our Facilities team located in Denver - Leprino is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician I to move our organization to even larger levels of cheese and dairy ingredient growth! What You’ll Do:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, carpentry, and flooring.
• Inspect building systems and equipment to identify maintenance needs and complete repairs efficiently.
• Operate, maintain, and safely use tools and equipment associated with multiple skilled trades.
• Install, repair, and modify office furniture to support department needs and workspace improvements.
• Maintain lawns, trees, landscaped areas, and outdoor spaces using mowers, trimmers, blowers, rakes, aeration equipment, and other grounds equipment.
• Complete seasonal grounds work, including snow removal and landscape maintenance, to keep Leprino facilities safe and presentable.
• Arrange and move furniture for conference rooms, board rooms, cafeterias, and company events.
• Open the Denver office by turning on lights, unlocking designated areas, checking common spaces, and completing related morning tasks.
• Identify and report building or grounds concerns and address maintenance issues when appropriate.
• Coordinate maintenance requests with Facilities team members and support other departments with office-related services.
• Follow Leprino safety procedures while completing building, grounds, and office service work.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

• A high school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in facilities maintenance, landscape maintenance, or grounds maintenance.

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

• An HVAC certification or formal HVAC training.
• Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems.
• Experience maintaining building systems across multiple skilled trades, such as electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, carpentry, or flooring.
