Job summary

City of Prescott is seeking a Maintenance Specialist - Facilities to install, maintain and repair systems across City buildings and grounds. The role covers electric, plumbing, HVAC, roofs, drywall, carpentry and related maintenance tasks in a on-site environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with 3 years building maintenance experience, plus 2 years HVAC/electrical training. A contractor license or IFMA credentials are highly preferred, with occasional on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years building maintenance experience.
• Two years HVAC and electrical training required.
• A contractor license or IFMA credentials are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate City vehicles and lifts; perform maintenance on facilities.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC and structural systems.
• Inspect and maintain roofs, walls, floors; perform drywall and painting.
• Assist with cost estimates and record keeping for jobs.
• On-call and night/weekend work may be required.
