Job summary

Walmart is seeking Developmental Technicians in General Facilities and Maintenance for our Florence, SC store. You will help maintain safety, functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, and fixtures, following schedules set by the Market Manager.

Daily tasks include inspections, cleaning, and repairs to keep operations running smoothly. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in varied temperatures, with competitive compensation and benefits for eligible

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and able to meet physical demands stated by the role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must maintain an excellent driving record and pass state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with repairs under supervision of an experienced technician.
• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Use the work order system to receive and document reactive repair orders.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and diagnose issues.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to identify problems.
• Complete training to safely operate tools and equipment.
