Job summary

Walmart is hiring a General Facilities Maintenance Technician in Myrtle Beach, SC to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of store facilities, equipment, and fixtures. You will work under the General Maintenance Manager following established schedules to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetics.

The role requires hands-on skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related trades, with a focus on reliability and customer-facing standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age and above.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move ladders.
• Comfortable working at heights and in varying temperatures.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Trade certification with 1 year experience or 2 years total in trades.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple crafts.
• Use work orders to receive and document repairs for stores and associates.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls promptly.
• Inspect and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to safely operate equipment and tools.
