Chippewa River Industries, Inc. is seeking a dependable Full-Time Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and care for our facility and grounds. The role reports to the Maintenance Lead and typically runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of skilled maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read technical specs and safety data sheets. This position includes benefits such as health coverage and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of skilled maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications including Safety Data Sheets.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel for record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and production equipment.
• Complete preventive and routine maintenance on production, shipping, receiving, utility, and restroom equipment.
• Assist with light carpentry and custodial operations as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, pest-control and housekeeping activities.
• Oversee groundskeeping duties including lawn care and snow removal.
• Design and manufacture jigs and workplace accommodations to improve efficiency.
• Serve as backup contact for emergency monitoring system and backup truck driver when requested.
