Job summary

Walmart is hiring a General Facilities Maintenance Technician for our Tracy, CA location. You will perform routine maintenance on facilities, equipment and fixtures under supervision, using plumbing, electrical, carpentry and material handling skills to keep stores safe and functional.

You will respond to repair requests, inspect systems, document work orders, and complete safety training to operate tools and equipment. A strong team focus and commitment to high standards are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/technical certification and 1 year of experience, or 2 years total work experience in related trades.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Receive and document repair work orders and support store teams.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment and fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training for operation of tools and equipment.
