Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and service the site’s auxiliary systems and equipment within a state-of-the-art, food-grade facility.

You will perform preventative maintenance on chillers, compressors, pumps, water towers, air dryers, transformers, monitor fire and emergency lighting, and participate in installation projects and modifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of mechanical troubleshooting experience (hydraulics, pneumatics).
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; associate degree or technical certs preferred.
• Experience with chillers, compressors, water towers, pumps, and other auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics; PLC knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on facility equipment.
• Monitor fire systems, access systems, and emergency lighting.
• Conduct general grounds maintenance.
• Assist in installation projects or equipment modifications.
