Job summary

ADUSA Distribution in Elloree, SC is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities Associate to perform building maintenance, lift shop and sanitation tasks within our distribution center. You will assist Mechanics and Technicians, support data entry, and adapt to varying warehouse conditions while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires basic High School education, ability to read blueprints and product identifiers, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, communication, verbal and written skills.
• Must use all required equipment (i.e. power washing, mowing, etc...).
• Ability to meet production standards set by the company.
• Ability to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers.
• Must be able to work needed schedule to perform assigned duties.
• Work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (i.e. cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks).
• Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research purposes.
• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Ability to analyze situations, identify problems and implement solutions.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance related information such as blue prints, diagrams, formulas etc.
• Ability to use required tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic functions for building maintenance, lift shop, and sanitation as assigned
• Assist and support the Maintenance Department Mechanics and Technicians in performing work orders
• Must be able to work needed schedule to perform assigned duties
• Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes impacting their work group or center that will maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs
• Any other duties as assigned by management
• Ensure compliance with Delhaize America standards in the areas of accuracy, safety and productivity.
