Job summary

Winnie L Nursing is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable facility operations. You will manage HVAC, boilers, water systems, and other critical equipment while coordinating budgets and contractor work.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, safety culture, and the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to sustain service quality in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Healthcare facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, water systems and emergency systems.
• Ability to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with supply ordering and budgeting.
• HVAC experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance team.
• Promote safety and compliance: conduct and document fire system inspections and coordinate monthly fire drills.
• Oversee preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain equipment: inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage supplies and budget within guidelines.
• Supervise contractors.
• Maintain facility safety and regulatory compliance.
• Train staff and promote safety procedures.
• Coordinate schedules: plan department staffing per census and labor budgets.
