Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC d/b/a Avamere Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance department in a multifacility setting in Issaquah, WA. The role focuses on overseeing operations, safety compliance, and preventive maintenance of building systems.

The position requires 3+ years of maintenance experience, leadership capability, and knowledge of boilers, HVAC, and electrical/plumbing systems. CPR/BLS certification is required, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience maintaining building facilities (long-term care, apartment complex or business)
• Experience in leadership/management preferred
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
• Ability to read blueprints and understand building codes and safety regulations
• CPR/BLS certification maintained during employment
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance department operations and supervise staff and contractors
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and policies for resident safety
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment and facilities
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly
• Manage maintenance budgets and inventory
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections
• Interact with staff, residents, and external vendors on maintenance issues
• Inspect and maintain building systems (plumbing, HVAC, electrical)
