Job summary

The Marvin Group is a leading defense contractor with locations in Southern California. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee a staff responsible for building maintenance, machine maintenance and custodial services at the Inglewood site.

Ideal candidates bring 4–7 years in maintenance plus at least 3 years in supervisory roles. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication are required to coordinate with multiple teams effectively.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 4–7 years progressive experience in a maintenance field.
• 3+ years supervisory experience directing a multi‑functional building maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate staff workload for building maintenance, machine maintenance and custodial services.
• Define material and labor requirements for building maintenance, machine maintenance and custodial service requests.
• Specify and order material as necessary to complete work orders and/or preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assign work to staff by following skills matrix and work requirements for all teams.
• Inspect work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.
• Recommend staff actions, such as hires and terminations to ensure proper staffing.
• Coach/mentors staff to resolve production and personnel issues.
• Train and recognize staff in building maintenance, machine maintenance and custodial service methods and proper operation of equipment.
