What you will be doing

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Acts as a company representative or liaison to ensure compliance with all State, Federal and local authorities
  • Take on the SPA activity as assigned but should have ability to drive: tag and lock out , Hot work , Combustion systems at a min.
  • Manages and support capital project as assigned. (primarily on the facility side project )
  • Supervises the activities and processes related to building and ground maintenance and assets management control.
  • Sub-contractor oversite and ensures work is completed safely while on Company property.
  • Ensures compliance and continual code involving existing contracts and insurances.
  • Conducts facilities qualities check and evaluates facilities systems.
  • Facility and asset condition & utilization assessments.
  • Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing and managing a Preventative Maintenance (PM) program to include corrective maintenance schedules, inventory systems and safety inspections.
  • Work with production scheduling to plan & schedule projects and maintenance programs.
  • Manage spare parts inventory control personnel to determine spare parts requirements and order quantities based on lessons learned through PM activities and budget.
  • Develop and direct all continuous improvement activities as related to maintenance and quality of work.
  • Meet or reduce budgeted material and labor cost variances through preventative and predictive maintenance.
  • Reviews facility contracts and presents analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Analyzes and interprets blue prints for code compliance and ADA workplace safety and ensures compliance.
  • General knowledge of environmental compliance for storing / disposal of HAZMAT materials.
  • Ensures work security/safety rules, and company policy and procedures compliance.
  • Controls productivity (effectiveness & efficiency) and the organizational results for the area.
  • The effective execution of all maintenance and assigned projects.
  • Work order approval and planning.
  • Conduct, trend, and perform root cause failure analysis, implement improvement plans for major failures and repeat breakdowns.
  • Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of staff responsible for facility maintenance. Maintains time and attendance records. Completes employee evaluations.
  • Evaluate maintenance technician skill level and develop training plans to maintain skill levels according to current technology.
  • Support other maintenance technicians and equipment operators to effectively keep machinery in good working condition
  • Perform all duties to operate all equipment, all within limitation of the standard methods and procedures and in accordance with strict adherence to safety, environmental, quality and productivity requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to maintain work flow or respond to emergency conditions.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with 5 S standards.
  • Requires the ability to perform all duties within limitation of the standard methods and procedures, and in accordance with strict adherence to HSE, quality and productivity requirements.
