SkyWater Technology is seeking a Plant Maintenance Manager to lead and mentor technicians in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes safety, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement, with a focus on managing equipment and fostering a culture aligned with company values. Candidates should have a high school diploma and relevant experience in maintenance management.
Primary Objective:
The role focuses on providing cultural leadership, fostering safety, and mentoring Plant Maintenance Technicians to align with SkyWater's Core Values. Key responsibilities include managing equipment operations and metrics, resolving system issues through Lean processes, and coordinating daily repairs and improvements. The position involves overseeing budgets, vendor contracts, and equipment layouts while supporting continuous growth and compliance with regulations. Additional duties include coaching for equipment upgrades, promoting a safe work environment, and driving cost reduction efforts to enhance operational efficiency.
Major Areas of Accountability:
* Provide cultural leadership & coaching to exemplify SkyWater's Core Values.
* Improve Plant equipment operations with pride, while setting and reinforcing a culture of safety.
* Manage, develop, mentor & empower compressed shift Plant Maintenance Technicians.
* Lead technicians with resolving unplanned down events and driving permanent Root Cause Corrective Actions, using Lean processes, procedures, and problem-solving tools.
* Manage all equipment metrics for continuous improvements.
* Coordinate and organize the daily system and equipment repairs, improvements, and problems.
* Make daily resource allocation decisions, balancing competing priorities, to serve the needs of the Operations teams.
* Monitor control system data and take appropriate actions when systems are out of control and changing unexpectedly.
* Manage vendor contracts to achieve results, when needed.
* Oversee plans, budgets and schedules equipment layout, modifications, installations, and de-installations.
* Serve as a key player in planning to support continuous growth and efficient site operation.
* Coach employees to develop and implement equipment upgrades to reduce downtime and cost.
* Promote and assist in maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.
* Ensure all processes and systems are compliant with regulations.
* Prepare, own, and oversee equipment operations budget and reports.
* Drive cost reduction efforts to help achieve cost management and savings goals.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

The annual salary range for this role is $75,280- $112,920. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
