Job summary

Responsibilities include room and floor cleaning, inventory of supplies, inspections, and assisting guests when required. 18+ required; prior cleaning experience is helpful. Full-time, $16.12 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous cleaning/maintenance experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms and other areas as assigned.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using cleaning equipment.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, drapes and other items as assigned.
• Dusts furniture and polishes metal work as assigned.
• Washes items such as walls, tables, and windows.
• Moves and sets up tables, chairs and equipment.
• Keeps inventory of janitorial supplies and replenishes as required.
• Performs inspections; ensures malfunctioning equipment is repaired or replaced.
• Maintains the upkeep of facilities, including changing light bulbs.
• Cleans condensers on cooling units at facilities.
• Ensures grounds are clean, landscaped, and winter months plowed and salted.
• Completes fire extinguisher inspections in a timely manner.
• Completes work orders in a timely manner.
• Maintains neat and orderly work areas.
• Assists guests with excellent customer service when needed.
• Attends departmental meetings and in-services.
• Performs other duties as needed.
