As the Facility & Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for repair of electrical; plumbing; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); carpentry, painting and other building systems.

Duties:

  • Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed
  • Works with Maintenance Manager to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks
  • Assess building systems to plan work assignments
  • Collaborates with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments; delegates assignments based on team members skills and experience
  • Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed in a safe, efficient, and timely manner
  • Assist team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments
  • Works with Operations Manager to coordinate topics for safety meetings
  • Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
  • Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least five years of industrial maintenance experience required
  • Extensive knowledge of building systems, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to identify issues and to determine repairs that are needed
  • Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software as needed to complete reports, logs, and inventory

Physical Requirements:

  • Must stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull or do fine manipulations
  • Required to stand for prolonged periods
  • Intermittently lift medium to heavy weight up to 75 lbs.
  • Intermittently required to bend and twist

Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm
