Job summary

McKesson’s temperature controlled automated Distribution Center in Kent, WA is hiring a junior to intermediate level Facilities/Maintenance/Service Technician. This role focuses on repairing and maintaining a broad range of facility systems and performing skilled troubleshooting.

You will communicate with management and frontline staff, using strong technical skills while learning new conveyance systems. Shift is Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm with OT as needed; competitive benefits apply.

Compensation

$28-32/hr

Shift Details

Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm

Note : Shift subject to change based on needs of the business. OT mandatory if required.

Job Summary

McKesson’s temperature controlled automated Distribution Center is currently hiring a junior to intermediate level Facility/Maintenance/Service Technician. This is a chance to work for a company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare.

The distribution team is seeking an individual who has repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks. This candidate should be able to communicate professionally with a wide range of groups from upper management to front line employees and possess an aptitude to learn quickly on new conveyance systems.

What You Will Need

• Facility, maintenance or service technician experience
• Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of different equipment used in a distribution center environment
• Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.)
• Basic knowledge/exposure to warehouse work environments
• Basic knowledge/exposure to various trades
• Knowledge of lock out/tag out and OHSHA

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Includes standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder, scissor lift & fork truck use, climbing up to (4) story heights in a warehouse environment.
• May work at heights at times
