Job summary

Yara North America is seeking a Facilities Operator - Maintenance at the Stockton Dry Terminal in Stockton, CA. You will perform routine maintenance on warehouse buildings and equipment, develop preventive programs, monitor product flow, and support vessel discharges while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires strong mechanical, instrumentation and welding skills, familiarity with conveyors and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and CMMS experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience.
• Welding experience.
• Strong mechanical/instrumentation skills.
• Familiar with conveyors and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Electrical experience preferred.
• CMMS experience preferred.
• 5S/Lean knowledge preferred.
• TWIC eligibility.
• Safety oriented.
• Team player in a diverse environment.
• Detail oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on terminal assets.
• Develop and implement a proactive preventive maintenance program.
• Monitor product flow and equipment to minimize buildup.
• Assist in vessel discharges and inbound product monitoring.
• Minimize product degradation through proper operation of equipment.
• Participate in safety training and exercises.
• Train colleagues on terminal maintenance and operate Front End Payloaders, Forklifts, Yard Truck, Aerial Lift, Scrubbers, and more.
• Maintain CMMS and gain knowledge of bagging room, control room and attendant duties.
