A fitness services company in Texas is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to handle building and equipment maintenance in their clubs. This role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the facilities are in top condition. A proven background in maintenance and proficiency with tools are essential. Strong organizational and time management skills are also crucial. This is a part-time, non-exempt hourly position.
Qualifications
Proven maintenance experience.
Skilled in the use of hand or power tools.
Ability to take apart machines or equipment to remove or replace defective parts.
Experience in performing routine maintenance (HVAC, pools, saunas, etc).
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Strong time management skills.
Responsibilities
Conduct a daily walk through of the facility, identifying repair/service needs.
Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
Performing preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment.
Perform basic facility and structure repairs/maintenance.
Repairing machines and equipment.
Coordinate with the Club Development Team on major facility issues and repairs.
Partnering with the General manager and Operations Manager to discuss club maintenance needs.
Maintain the club’s Maintenance Log.
