Job summary

Integra LifeSciences is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Planner to plan, schedule, and optimize maintenance across facility systems in a regulated medical device environment. You will leverage Blue Mountain RAM, CMMS data, and asset analytics to enhance uptime, regulatory readiness, and cost efficiency.

The role collaborates with Facilities, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and EHS, developing maintenance strategies, managing asset records, and driving continuous improvement aligned with GMP

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of maintenance planning, reliability or facilities engineering in regulated manufacturing.
  • Experience in GMP-regulated environments (medical devices, pharma, biotech).
  • Hands-on with Blue Mountain RAM/BMRAM.
  • Strong data analytics and reporting skills (Power BI).
  • Knowledge of FDA, cGMP, ISO 13485 and validation requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for facility assets.
  • Coordinate facility shutdowns, utility outages, and planned maintenance events.
  • Analyze maintenance performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role leverages Blue Mountain RAM, CMMS data, and asset reliability analytics to improve equipment performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain inspection readiness. Working closely with Facilities, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and EHS teams, the planner develops maintenance strategies, manages asset records, analyzes maintenance performance metrics, and drives continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence and business objectives.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Planning & SchedulingDevelop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for facility assets.Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly, maintenance activities.Prioritize work orders based on business needs, risk assessments, and equipment criticality.Schedule maintenance activities to minimize impact on production and cleanroom operations.Coordinate facility shutdowns, utility outages, and planned maintenance events.Blue Mountain RAM AdministrationServe as site subject matter expert for Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager (RAM).Maintain equipment asset hierarchy, preventive maintenance records and maintenance documentation within Blue Mountain.Ensure asset records comply with GMP, FDA, and internal quality requirements.Develop and manage electronic maintenance workflows, approvals, and reporting.Support audits and inspections by providing maintenance and asset history documentation.Asset Reliability & Continuous ImprovementAnalyze maintenance trends and equipment performance data.Support reliability-centered maintenance initiatives.Identify opportunities to improve equipment uptime and maintenance efficiency.Assist in root cause investigations and corrective actions for recurring failures.Support continuous improvement and cost reduction projects.Contractor & Vendor CoordinationCoordinate service vendors and maintenance contractors.Obtain quotes and support contractor selection activities.Ensure contractors comply with site safety, GMP, and quality requirements.Track contractor performance and service completion.Inventory & Spare Parts ManagementManage critical spare parts inventories.Coordinate procurement of maintenance materials and services.Monitor inventory levels and recommend stocking strategies.Maintain accurate equipment and parts databases.Compliance & DocumentationEnsure maintenance activities comply with GMP, FDA, ISO 13485, OSHA, and company requirements.Support audits, inspections, and regulatory assessments.Participate in change control, deviations, CAPA, non-conformance, and validation activities as required.Maintain maintenance documentation in a state of inspection readiness.Cross-Functional SupportPartner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Validation, and EHS teams.Support facility capital projects and equipment installations.Assist with annual budgets, forecasting, and maintenance cost tracking.Generate reports and KPI dashboards for management review.Data Analytics & Reliability EngineeringAnalyze maintenance performance using Blue Mountain RAM, CMMS, and operational data sources.Develop KPIs and dashboards for:PM completion ratesSchedule complianceWork order backlogMaintenance costs and labor utilizationIdentify trends and implement actions to improve equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness.Utilize data visualization and reporting tools to communicate maintenance performance to leadership.Support predictive maintenance and reliability-centered maintenance initiatives.EducationAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or related field preferred.5 years of experience with Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager (BMRAM) in the LifeSciences or Pharmaceutical industries may be substituted for a degree in a related field.Experience5+ years of maintenance planning, reliability, facilities engineering, or maintenance management experience.Experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or life sciences.Hands-on experience with Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager (BMRAM).Technical SkillsProficiency with Blue Mountain RAM.Strong data analytics and reporting capabilities.Experience with Power BI or similar reporting platforms.Understanding of asset lifecycle management.Knowledge of FDA, cGMP, ISO 13485, and validation requirements.Experience managing facility assets including HVAC, cleanrooms, compressed air, electrical distribution, BAS/BMS, and critical utilities.CompetenciesExcellent organizational and communication skills.Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate combines strong maintenance planning expertise with a data-driven mindset. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
