Job summary

Allaire Health Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Morristown, NJ. You will perform repairs and routine maintenance on building systems, plants, and equipment to ensure safe, compliant operations in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Must meet physical requirements and be able to work in a healthcare facility environment.
• Able to participate in process improvements to enhance customer experience and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment and supplies.
• Test emergency generator weekly and monthly as required by regulations.
• Follow safety rules and policies of the maintenance department.
• Maintain building in good repair and compliant with codes and laws.
• Conduct monthly maintenance checks of building, grounds, and facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance such as painting, carpentry, changing light bulbs.
• Coordinate maintenance with other departments.
• Keep grounds neat; manage landscaping and debris control.
• Remain on-call for facility emergencies.
• Coordinate fire safety programs and drills.
• Arrange for and manage outside repair and construction services.
• Washing windows and screens outside of building.
• Keep work areas and storage neat and organized.
• Pick up work orders daily and set priorities.
• Inspect fire extinguishers every 30 days.
• Maintain records for preventative maintenance schedules.
