Job summary

Plymouth, MI is seeking a Facilities Manager to plan, manage and coordinate resources for the Craftsmanship Verification Center's building, grounds and shop equipment. Under the Director of Facilities, you will oversee maintenance programs, budgets and safety, and supervise internal staff and external contractors to ensure reliable operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in facilities management, strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical and building systems, and proven ability to lead teams,

Qualifications

• Minimum: 2–4 years college coursework in Business, Building/Facilities Management or related fields; 5 years hands-on experience in similar role or equivalent.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in Business, Building/Facilities Management or related fields; 5–7 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules and directs maintenance of building, grounds, and equipment including HVAC and shop infrastructure.
• Establishes and maintains preventive maintenance programs for major components.
• Oversees contractors for maintenance, upgrades, and repairs and manages budgets and standards.
