Job summary

Siltronic Corporation in Portland, OR is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright to install, diagnose and repair equipment, and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime on mechanical systems.

The role requires reading blueprints, performing welding, hydraulics, and PLC tasks, and collaborating with engineers. This position offers visa sponsorship and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, and educational assistance.

Qualifications

Associate degree or two-year technical training required.
7 years experience in maintenance in manufacturing or 2 years with the company as Maintenance Technician III.
Ability to read safety rules, instructions, operating procedures, blueprints, and manuals.
Proficient in reading engineering drawings and writing SOPs.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
Experience with SAP and MS Office applications.
Good verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

Install, diagnose, repair, and implement Preventive Maintenance to minimize downtime.
Maintain piping, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, electrical, and PLC systems.
Utilize millwrighting and welding to install and maintain equipment.
Analyze equipment to determine malfunctions and perform repairs.
Document repairs, calibrations, tests, and spare parts records.
