OVERVIEW:
As a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic, you will play an important role in supporting the overall maintenance and groundskeeping tasks of the factory such as in-depth repairs, sanitation, and aesthetics. You will work extensively within all areas of building maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, building electrical, repairing walls and floors, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for managing the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of non-GMP areas and equipment including front offices, warehousing areas, etc.
  2. Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  3. Perform routine general HVAC maintenance
  4. Manage third-party contractors to schedule and implement necessary repairs, obtain quotes, etc.
  5. Seasonal exterior work may apply
  6. Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. 5 -7 years of facilities maintenance required, GMP experience strongly preferred
  2. HVAC experience required. HVAC certification strongly preferred
  3. Plumbing, Electrical and Carpentry experience strongly preferred
  4. Must have experience and advanced knowledge in installing lights, tile, carpet, metal, and wood framing, drywall, painting, doors, toilets, and grounds maintenance
  5. Experience working with CMMS systems preferred
  6. Ability to lift 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation required

SKILLS:

  1. Ability to independently develop complex technical plans based on analysis of complex datasets used to identify trends and improvement activities
  2. Ability to prioritize activities to meet plant expectations and strategic objectives concurrently
