Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment across Star Lake Camp & Conference Center. You will use MaintainX CMMS to document inspections, maintenance tasks, and asset records to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Three years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and painting are required.

Qualifications

• Three years of maintenance experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting and general building repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on buildings, grounds, vehicles, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical components, carpentry and other assets.
• Maintain inventory records and documentation in MaintainX.
• Coordinate with supervisors, staff, vendors, and contractors to support operations.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
