Hiring range: $51.237 to $58,208 annually, based on qualifications, education, and experience.

Position Summary

Under supervision, this role performs skilled labor tasks related to mechanical maintenance for parks and facilities, with a focus on electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and pool maintenance.

Essential Duties

• Maintain swimming pool mechanical systems, including start-up, inspection, and winterization.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical lighting, motors, and control systems.
• Diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems and other mechanical components.
• Track material costs and manage inventory within budget.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, pumps, lighting, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Be available for on-call rotations, including weekends and off-hours.
• Drive to district facilities as needed, possibly using district vehicles.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and orientations.
• Maintain reliable and punctual attendance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years in a mechanical skilled trade or related education/training.
• Ability to learn electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and pool maintenance, or relevant experience.
• Combination of experience and education may be considered.

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid Colorado Driver License or ability to obtain one upon hire, with an acceptable driving record.
