Job description

Position Summary

At Walmart, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee the predictive and preventative maintenance of our facilities within a regional area. In this role, you will lead a team of dedicated technicians to ensure our buildings operate efficiently and sustainably, providing a safe and comfortable environment for associates and customers.

Responsibilities

• Approx. 50% or more travel within the region.
• Work directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on their facility service needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as necessary.
• Reporting and analytics to track maintenance performance.
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses and provide documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Participate in training programs to stay current with regulatory requirements, including site inspections for compliance and quality standards.
• Obtain and secure all necessary permits and schedule inspections as mandated by mechanical or building codes.

Hard Skill Sets Needed

• General facilities services / overall building maintenance experience – 3 to 5 years optimal.
• Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience.
• Leadership skills – ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.

Soft Skill Sets Needed

• EPA Universal Certification.
• PMP Certification.

• Current FL HVAC/R Contractor license, in good standing.
• Maintain mechanical contractor licenses in the state of employment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field and 3 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area, OR 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.
• EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Mechanical Contractor License or equivalent in the state of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with building controls.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• External work experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in optical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment.
• Must hold state and jurisdiction required certification and license for the state/jurisdiction of work.
• State mechanical contractor license, supervisory experience, Type I and II EPA certification for refrigerant handling.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $180,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
