Job summary

Trystar seeks a Facilities and Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and construction operations at the Houston facility. The role ensures peak building performance, system reliability, and regulatory compliance through policy implementation and contractor management.

Reporting to the Site Leader, you will oversee daily operations of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste systems, while training staff and tracking budgets and work orders to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in facilities management or engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
• CFM (Certified Facility Manager) or FMP credential preferred; OSHA knowledge a must.

Responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties.
• Implement policies and procedures for building functioning, grounds, and equipment.
• Monitor daily building operations of systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management.
• Track work orders for quality and budget adherence.
• Train supervisors and employees in maintenance, service, safety standards, and local regulations.
• Oversee vendors or contractors engaged for construction projects.
