Job summary

Farmington Country Club is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Assistant Manager to oversee the maintenance team and ensure reliable operation of the clubhouse, electrical, HVAC, and building systems.

You will lead mechanics, manage safety and preventative maintenance, and support facilities projects while coordinating with departments to keep the club running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary training in a related field.
• At least two years of facilities maintenance supervisory experience in business, education, hospitality, or similar environment.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 25 feet.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Competency in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and painting.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and recordkeeping requirements.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Train, develop, and supervise Maintenance Mechanics with strong leadership.
• Ensure facilities comply with ADA, fire and life safety standards.
• Follow preventive maintenance programs for inspections, repairs, and replacements.
• Use BAS to manage planned maintenance and track issues.
• Schedule work orders and monitor payroll/time via Paycom.
• Enter schedules and changes into the system and maintain orderliness.
• Lead daily department meetings and assist director on projects.

Responsible for the successful execution and completion of clubhouse repairs and general maintenance, including the physical building structure and the mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, in accordance with standards and procedures, preventative maintenance programs, safety practices, budgets, and regulatory requirements. The Facilities Maintenance Assistant Manager is also responsible for assisting with the training, development, and supervision of the Maintenance Mechanics, and for ensuring the timely and accurate resolution of property maintenance concerns.

Responsibilities

• Train, develop, and supervise the Maintenance Mechanics through strong, professional, and thoughtful leadership.
• Ensure facilities are in compliance with ADA, fire and life safety, and environmental standards and specifications.
• Follow the preventative maintenance program of scheduled inspections, repairs, and replacement of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems, and Club facilities.
• Use Building Automation System (BAS) to manage planned maintenance, schedule work orders in MaintainX, and monitor and track facility issues.
• Use Facility Dude MaintainX to receive, prioritize, and assign work orders to Maintenance Mechanics.
• Schedule mechanics, and enter schedules and scheduling changes into Paycom.
• Monitor payroll and time and attendance policy through Paycom.
• Ensure the proper and thorough completion of Rounds and checklists.
• Maintain an orderly and organized maintenance building.
• Assist in developing and implementing training programs and materials.
• Conduct daily department meetings.
• Assist Facilities Maintenance Director with projects as requested.
• Champion and facilitate teamwork and cooperation among and between Club departments.
• Serve as Facilities Maintenance Director in Director’s absence.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary training in a related field.
• At least two (2) years of facilities maintenance supervisory experience in business, education, hospitality, or similar environment.
• Ability to climb ladders up to heights of twenty-five (25) feet.
• Ability to lift and carry up to sixty (60) pounds.
• Demonstrated competency in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and painting.
• Knowledge of regulations, codes, associated training, and recordkeeping requirements issued by OSHA and applicable government agencies.
• Strong experience working with Microsoft Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
