Job summary

NoCO Humane in Loveland, CO seeks a Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor to assist the Facilities and Maintenance Manager in operating and maintaining buildings, equipment, and grounds. This is a working supervisory position with weekend/after-hours requirements and possible travel between campuses.

The role oversees janitorial, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, and safety processes; schedules and coordinates vendor work; maintains records; and ensures OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in applicable field of study or professional work equivalent required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an applicable role in a comparable commercial building; Project management experience required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish reading, writing, understanding and speaking a plus and includes a wage premium.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to facility maintenance requests and communicate with staff using good customer service.
• Supervise assigned personnel and volunteers, providing guidance and training.
• Coordinate and oversee work of maintenance contractors and vendors; serve as primary contact.
• Monitor security, fire, lighting, HVAC and electrical systems; take action as needed.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and repairs on assigned systems when trained.
• Manage building access credentials and key assignments securely.
• Maintain documentation of facility systems, schedules and safety requirements.
• Inspect site buildings, parking lots and equipment for unsafe conditions and correct as needed.
• Ensure tools and equipment are safe, clean and OSHA-compliant; enforce safety practices.
