Job summary

South Central Family Health Center is seeking a General Maintenance and Janitorial Technician to maintain clean, safe, and functional facilities across SCFHC locations. The role may require evenings, weekends, and on-call duties for emergencies.

The successful candidate will perform general repairs, cleaning, groundskeeping, and basic carpentry while ensuring health and safety standards are met. High school diploma required; bilingual Spanish/English encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree preferred.
• OSHA preferred.
• Computer knowledge, Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and orderly buildings to meet quality standards.
• Assist with janitorial duties (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming).
• Repair and maintain the physical structures of facilities.
• Ensure gutters and drains are clear and in good condition.
• Perform routine inspections of building systems and facilities.
• Carry out minor repairs (leaks, drywall, painting, locks).
• Light maintenance and basic carpentry tasks.
• Support landscaping and groundskeeping (mowing, trash collection).
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and keep areas stocked.
