Position Overview

JBS is seeking an hourly Maintenance Tech Team Member. The position starts at $25.00 per hour with an additional $0.25/hour shift differential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Resolve maintenance and mechanical issues promptly to minimize production disruption.
• Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Perform conveyor belt repairs, minor equipment repairs, and part replacements.
• Assess and determine necessary maintenance types and timing.
• Work on low to high voltage systems (24V to 480V 3-phase).
• Stand, crouch, and use ladders or scissor lifts as needed.
• Perform welding on stainless steel (mig or tig).
• Use appropriate tools and troubleshoot machines independently.
• Monitor machine operations and record maintenance activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.
• May require long hours and weekend work.

Work Environment

May include exposure to hot/cold temperatures and use of sharp tools.
