Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a Utility Worker to support facility maintenance and assist in shop areas as required. The role involves cleaning, painting, and general labor tasks to keep the site in good condition.

Some duties include operating tools and company vehicles, maintaining grounds, and performing janitorial tasks. Must be 18+, with preferred manufacturing/industrial experience and a high school diploma or GED. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash parking lot, plant equipment, and surrounding areas using a high pressure hose.
• Paint and wash plant equipment and building fixtures as necessary.
• Use standard hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, wrenches) and power tools (drills, impact drivers, saws).
• Operate company vehicles around plant and property.
• Maintain facility grounds including mowing, refuse removal, sweeping, etc.
