Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Utility Yard Worker to perform maintenance and grounds upkeep at our Lewiston facility on the second shift. This role supports our manufacturing site by keeping exterior grounds clean, equipment areas organized, and common spaces safe and presentable for daily operations.

You will paint equipment and buildings for preventive maintenance, clean dumpsters and restrooms, sanitize interiors, and follow all safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Paints equipment and buildings for preventive maintenance.
• Maintains clean area around dumpsters; picks up trash; dumps and cleans trash barrels.
• Cleans interior of plant including showers, restrooms, and breakroom.
• Responsible for familiarity and observation of all company safety rules and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
